Maintaining an optimal weight through healthy eating and regular exercise is crucial to the overall health and quality of life for both men and women. RWC is committed to helping all of their patients achieve their individual weight loss and weight maintenance goals. Under the guidance of a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Fitness Trainer, our weight management program has evolved to provide several medically supervised weight loss programs. The most recent weight loss plan additions are the hCG diet and The Dietitian Plan.

*hCG Diet-

The hCG diet (developed by Dr. A.T. W. Simeon in the 1950’s) is a rapid weight loss protocol which uses daily injections of human Chorionic Gonadotropin (a hormone produced when a woman is pregnant) combined with a 500 calorie/food restricted eating plan for a limited number of days. Patients can expect to lose an average of a pound a day and according to Dr. Simeon “abnormal fat” weight is lost in problematic areas like the abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs and upper arms. Many participants have reported reduced appetite and increased energy. Strict adherence to Dr. Simeon’s diet protocol is necessary for optimal weight loss results. Members of our staff have tried this protocol with amazing results.

*Protein Shake Diet-

RWC carries convenient Pro-Cal shakes and bars to offer as a meal replacement. The diet helps you control portions and calories to help in your individual weight loss goals. The Protein Shake diet plan is customizable to the amount of weight loss you desire. A meal and exercise plan is provided. Appetite suppressants are available.

*RWC Diet-

This is a long term diet low in starch and sugars devised by Dr. Rhett. The diet focuses on protein, non-starchy vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes and healthy fats. High fiber foods are encouraged to help control blood sugars and promote satiety. Appetite suppressants are available.

*The Dietitian Plan-

This plan will provide you with a customized meal and exercise plan to meet your nutritional needs while maintaining the weight loss that you have achieved or it can provide additional weight loss. This lifelong, lifestyle plan is devised to improve health and overall wellbeing. Monthly or weekly supportive wellness coaching visits with the dietitian are strongly encouraged.
